Love the print, not the length.

I’m 5’2”, so this skirt is quite long on me. I had hoped to hem it, but because of the way the print is oriented, I think it will look weird to cut through the table scene. I even considered detaching the waistband to “hem” it from the top, where the print wouldn’t be harmed, but the pockets made that impossible. I’m not sure I will be able to use this skirt now, as the length looks rather matronly on me. I’m quite disappointed as I got the matching shirt and had hoped to wear the set.
